Stacey grew up on the west coast of Canada where she discovered her passion of working with people with disabilities. While attending Douglas College in the Recreational Therapy program, Stacey spent two summers in Indiana working with campers with varying disabilities at Bradford Woods. While at camp, Stacey met her future husband.
