My mission in improving the lives of individuals with disabilities came about through the path of life that we rarely see, but can nearly always feel drawing us in the direction we are supposed to go. I started out as a counselor without a counseling job and ended up working at New Castle State Hospital. I hated the environment but loved the people. Over the years I worked in so many different terrible environments but the people always stayed the same, full of love and hope for the future. Through it all it became clear, individuals with disabilities and their families just want the same opportunities as everyone else. Our goal is to help as many individuals as possible meet that goal.
