Jordyn Koertge
Director of Community Supports and Employment
Jordyn grew up on the northwest side of Indianapolis and discovered a passion for working with individuals with disabilities while obtaining her undergraduate degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. She volunteered at IUPUI’s Motor Activity Clinic, creating individualized programming for children with disabilities. Jordyn graduated from IUPUI in 2015 with her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Health Education and Certificate in Personal Training. Upon graduation, she began her career as a Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach, gaining experience working with a wide array of individuals.
Jordyn started with MDS in the fall of 2017 as a Direct Support Professional and has continued to grow professionally with the company, also serving as the Assistant Director of Community Supports, and now Director of Community Supports. In her role, she provides oversight to the Adult Day Program, Community Supports Programs, Residential, and Employment Services/Vocational Rehabilitation Program. Jordyn continues to have a passion for helping others and enjoys watching clients grow and accomplish their goals.
In her free time, Jordyn enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, hiking, and traveling. She currently resides on the westside of Indianapolis with her husband, Chris, their daughter, Addison, and fur baby, Ellie.
