Our ABA Department proudly provides individualized therapeutic services to children and families impacted by autism, Down syndrome and other forms of Developmental Disabilities. Our registered behavior technicians provide these children the opportunity to reach their fullest potential by recognizing that each child is unique and by providing comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs. ABA is a well-developed scientific discipline among the helping professions that focuses on the analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation of social and other environmental modifications to produce meaningful changes in human behavior.
You would have the opportunity to work with individuals 1:1 on academic skills, social skills, and self-help skills.
What is a Registered Behavior Technician?
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT®) is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA, BCaBA, or FL-CBA. The RBT is primarily responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services and will provide direct 1 on 1 therapy with children. Each individualized program is written and designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) for the Registered Behavior Technician to execute.
