Yinglan He, MT-BC

Music Therapist

Yinglan is a board-certified music therapist who holds a bachelor’s degree in Art Administration and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Music Therapy at Ohio University. Yinglan has experience working with diverse populations including people with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, and mental health struggles. She completed her internship at Park Nicollet Health Services (MN), where she worked with people with variety of medical histories and lived experiences.

Yinglan is very passionate about exploring the therapeutic effects of music with her clients to support their wellness and healing. She works with her clients to achieve their goals (e.g., emotional expression, motor skills, communication, and socialization), and she customizes treatment based on clinical assessment and on-going evaluation of their progress.

Yinglan is very excited to provide quality, hands-on services to her clients in Lafayette!
