Stacey Carlson, CTRS

Recreational Therapist

I am originally from Vancouver, Canada, where I graduated from Douglas College with my Bachelor of Therapeutic Recreation in 2010. Throughout college, I had the opportunity to work at Bradford Woods for two summers and completed my internship at RIC in Chicago. I have experience working with children and adolescents of all abilities. Working with children has always been a true calling. My favorite part of my job is seeing the happiness on someone's face when they realize that they CAN do something despite being told that they couldn't in the past.

  • I enjoy anything that involves being outside:  hiking, camping, basketball and football.  But when it’s too cold to go outside, I like to curl up with a good book in front of the fire.
