Nancy has provided direct services to children with disabilities for over twenty five years. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Texas and earned her Master's degree from the University of New Mexico.
During her career in education, she worked as a Special Education Teacher, Extended School Year Director, Behavior Specialist and Transition Specialist. She has substantial experience in writing IEP goals, conducting functional behavior assessments, developing behavior support plans and post-secondary plans.
In addition to her career in education, she founded a therapeutic horseback riding program called DREAM Riders. There, she worked with children and adults focusing on the varying needs of the client. These needs included balance, behavior, social skills, tactile issues, and developmental skills.
In her spare time, she enjoys training and showing her Australian Shepherd and Border Collie in AKC performance and conformation events.
She is now happily working for Meaningful Day Services as a Behavior Consultant where she enjoys working with both children and adults. Her mission is to provide services to children and adults in their home, school and community, improving quality in their life.
