I was born and raised in Lafayette, Indiana. After graduating from Purdue, my first year teaching began in Brookston, Indiana. I hold a teaching degree and an Indiana license to teach Special Education and Physical Education, Health and Recreation. I have taught in Washington, South Carolina and Georgia as well and happily settled back in Indiana 11 years ago. I have taught and worked with special needs children for close to 20 years. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience working with children with many, varied educational, physical and behavioral challenges. I have 3 children of my own and we love living near family.
