My name is Lauren Jennings, and I am a graduate of the Occupational Therapy program at Eastern Kentucky University. I specialize in feeding for all stages of life from new born to geriatric. I am enthusiastic about learning new treatment strategies, and I look forward to bringing new knowledge and training to Meaningful Day Services. In college I participated in research with a focus on a child’s transition from early intervention to preschool. I strongly believe in and focus on family-centered practice, and I strive to keep open communication with the families I serve. I believe that my job as an Occupational Therapist is to walk alongside families, aiding parents and their children in creating an environment that facilitates success with family-centered outcomes.
I have experience in both outpatient pediatrics and home-based early intervention. I have specialized in feeding across the life-span. I have also completed various trainings in the area of sensory integration, including Astronaut Training.
I enjoy relaxing at home with my husband and two kids.
