Kristen McCarrick, CTRS

Recreational Therapist

I am a native Hoosier, growing up on the eastside of Indianapolis. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University in Recreation Therapy in 2004. I have been a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist since 2005. I have had the opportunity to use my degree in a variety of settings from residential facilities, early intervention, ABA centers and coming full circle returning to the Medicaid waiver with Meaningful Day Services. I enjoy working with individuals in the areas they reside to foster a sense to community and pride in what they do. I especially enjoy adaptive sports and crafts.  When I am not working, I enjoy going to concerts, camping, crafting, and spending lots of time with family. I live on the northeast side of Indianapolis with my husband, Matthew, and our children, Noah, Sophia Marie, and Leila Rey.
