Hi. I'm Jim Cline and I serve the Southeastern Indiana area. I live in Jefferson County near Madison and currently serve clients in Jefferson, Scott, Jackson and Jennings Counties. I am willing to work with individuals in any of these counties and will also consider individuals in adjacent counties as well. I have been working part-time with Meaningful Day Services since March 2002 and hope to be full time by July 2007. Prior to working with Meaningful Day Services, I also had part-time jobs working as a behavioral consultant with a large group home provider and have taught courses for Purdue University and IUPUI out of Columbus.
I specialize in serving clients with psychiatric and behavioral issues. After spending more than 30 years working at Madison State Hospital, I have acquired an extensive knowledge of a wide variety of mental health problems. With this background I am able to recognize the symptoms and behaviors associated with various mental disorders, and more importantly, the most effective interventions and treatments for them. While at Madison I helped to develop the behavior program for the GOLD Unit, a Medicaid Certified Unit serving dually diagnosed developmentally disabled adults. I have continued to work exclusively with this program since August of 1983 and currently am responsible for completing assessments and behavior support plans for two units which serve a total of 30 adults.
