While originally from southeast Virginia, Erin has spent the past year in upstate New York completing her music therapy internship at Hochstein School of Music and Dance. During her internship, she had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of populations including developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer's disease/dementia, and more. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy at Radford University in Radford, VA, where her major instrument was the alto saxophone. Erin is very excited to be a part of the MDS music therapy team!
The majority of my work has been with children and adults with developmental disabilities, although I am comfortable working with a variety of other populations. I also have experience co-treating with speech and occupational therapists.
