Hello! My name is Clayton Carl. I joined the team at Meaningful Day Services in February 2012 as a Behavior Consultant serving primarily the Columbus and Greenwood areas. I have my master's degree in Social Work from Indiana University. I also have a bachelor's degree from IU with a double major of Sociology and Journalism. I have always been fascinated by "human behavior and the social environment." My duties as Behavior Consultant brings to life the abstract. Going out in the field to visit clients at home, workshop, school and in the community help me to better understand how and why behaviors might happen. Working as part of the multi-disciplinary care team, I then work directly with clients, families and staff to track behavior patterns and try to minimize issued that can be patterned as leading to behaviors. I have several years' experience working with disabled youth and adults as a Medical Social Worker, in the hospital, clinic and home care arenas.
I am a technology fanatic from my smart phone to the internet to my DVR. But there is nothing like getting unpluged and heading outside for some quiet time in nature.
