Recreational Therapist

I am originally from central Minnesota and graduated from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. I started my profession in 2016 where I completed my internship in Atlanta, Georgia at a psychiatric children’s hospital providing treatment for children and adolescents with severe and complex psychiatric and behavioral difficulties. After graduation, I began my first TR job at a new independent living facility and transitional care unit where I sent a year building their Therapeutic Recreation program. I discovered that I missed working with individuals with developmental disabilities and decided to make the change in moving to Indiana to work for Meaningful Day Services. I currently reside in Fishers, Indiana where I enjoy exploring this new community.
