Recreational Therapist

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Sport Management with a concentration in Recreation Therapy and a minor in Dance from Indiana State University. I completed my internship at Oregon State Hospital, a reputable mental health hospital and a leading provider for Recreation Therapy. I hold national certifications as a Recreation Therapist and a Nonprofit Professional. My professional experience includes over 7 years working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings; such as, but not limited to, hospitals, camps, and nonprofit organizations.  Among this experience, I have also worked with Girl Scouts of Indiana, Boy Scouts of America, as a gymnastics coach, and a nanny. Furthermore, I have over 11 years of volunteer experience with an emphasis in special needs services.
